Faiz-e- Haakimi, Al Moizziya tul Qahera was established in 1399H (1978AD). Its purpose was to provide accommodation and guidance to Mumineen Zuwwar who had come to Misr for the ziyarat of Rasul Imamil Husain (AS), Moulatona Zainab (AS) and the Jawame of Aimmat Fatemiyeen (AS).

In 1401H (1980AD) a landmark event took place in the history of the Fatemi Dawat when the masjid of Imam Hakim (AS) – Al Jame ul Anwar - which had been fully restored by the Fatemi Dai His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS); was inaugurated in thje presence of the then President of Egypt, His Excellency Mr. Anwar Sadat.

The restoration and inauguration was in itself a remarkable feat and marked the beginning of several such continuing projects to restore all of the Jawame of the Fatimi era back to their former glory.

The inauguration took place in the Moharram of 1401 H and was made more historic by the fact that His Holiness commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Husain (AS) and Ashara Mubaraka in Misr for the first time by an incumbent Fatemi Dai in the 900 years of Fatimi Duaat history. The event was attended by over 10, 000 Mumineen from all over the world and this  was a first in that no such mass gathering of Mumineen had previously taken place outside of the Asian sub-continent.

As a result Mumineen across the globe found themselves looking into the windows of their Fatemi history, heritage and culture in a way they had never seen before. A realization spread throughout the Mumineen of the Dawoodi Bohra world of their roots in Fatimi Misr and naturally the desire developed to return there and partake of the living barakaat of Misr.

As a result, year on year, the number of Zuwwar to Al Moizziya tul Qahera has increased continuously. Naturally the existing facilities gradually came under strain and the need for new, modern, fully equipped facilities for travelling Mumineen was identified as being absolutely essential.

Construction of the new, purpose built Faiz-e-Haakimi building started in 2003 and has now, with the barakaat of Huzurala's (tus) dua mubarak finally been completed. Faiz e Haakimi is located in the heart of Al-Qahera. The ziyarat of Raas-ul-Imam Husain (as) & Al-Jame ul Anwar is just 7 Minutes of walking distance from faiz. The building is easily identifiable and made distinct by its Fatemi design which blends classic features of the Fatemi era seamlessly into a modern structure. The light colours enhance the feeling of modernity whilst allowing full expression of the older facets of the building.

Faiz e Haakimi is now ready to receive its Mumineen guests and provide them with an unrivalled ziyarat experience. It has 96 air-conditioned rooms all of which are fully self-contained with bathrooms and all have balconies. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all provided and there are leisure facilities as well as business facilities for Mumineen to use.

Apart from the ziyarat and touring of Fatimi  'aasaar mutabarrekah'  in Misr the Faiz will also be able to take Mumineen to other tourist attractions that Cairo has to offer and which millions of tourists visit Egypt each year to see.
